Doggedly holding his hand to his gun,  None but a fool would taunt our gallant brute  Once provoked he strikes with a mad vengeance.   
And what, we ask, will be the price to pay  What’ll be the cost of this too willing help?

the brave knightThere’s a forgotten story of a time long ago  When a dragon terrified a village just because he was broke  The dragon had spent all his savings and as we all know  A dragon dearly loves to have his riches and gold   
Back in town the dragon had roasted all of the herds  Word soon reached the crown about this ravenous monster  
“Where is our bravest knight?” the King asked his counselor  At that time the counselor replied, “I will fetch him now milord”   
The knight soon arrived prepared to combat any swine  And just in time for the dragon was ready to dine  “Stop now,” shouted our he the brave knight

i once knew a dragonI once knew a dragon, who was mean and such a dread  It saddens me to think of all the poor lives he would wreck  He would take children into his lair and they would never be the same  But I know his nasty secret; he must have sucked out all their brains   
This dragon was known near and far and all across the globe  Fear struck in every heart whenever he came close  You might have heard of him, of this hideous creature  He divided my brain; he was my math teacher   
An armor of endless studies could not save me from this dragon  Once inside his den I could not escape, the days forever dr i once knew a dragon

ive just joined deviantart. ive been hearing a lot about this site from a few different people, so i thought id test it out. i put up my first deviation, a poem. i dont think its too horrible =] haha. im interested in seeing if anyone comments.
